This gear clock is a truly magnificent timepiece. each of the gears turn smoothly and silently at varying speeds. The clock mounts directly to the wall and operates on two "D" batteries (not incluced). The gears of the clock are silver plastic and the hands of the clock are black. The clock measures 13" tall by 6" wide by 4 1/2" deep.
